Guadalquivir

The very first AVIS pilot is expected to take place on the Guadalquivir, starting from March 9 until March 13, 2026!

The Port of Seville is the only Inland Maritime port in Spain. It is a strategic location for the European Union and has six port terminals under concessions, three of which are public.

The area of interest is considered to be the entire navigable part of the river from the lock to the mouth of the river.

The route along the Guadalquivir River runs under the Euroway E.60.02, which forms part of the Atlantic corridor of the Trans-European Transport Network and it is approximately 90km long.

For the Guadalquivir pilot, the vessel Morfeo, belonging to TIMON DE TRIANA, S.L.U, has been identified. A rental contract will be drawn up for the vessel.
