With over 25 years of experience, Tresco is committed to reducing pollution and noise in transportation, providing custom solutions for inland shipping in Europe. The company develops and sells technological solutions to enhance the efficiency and predictability of inland navigation, adapting to current economic and ecological realities.

In the AVIS project, Tresco Engineering provides to the consortium its expertise on Inland Navigation systems (software). They will bne contributing to the following tasks:

• Definition of operational scenarios

• Identification of user requirements

• Safety case and design

• Identification and analysis of challenges and barriers for automated vessels

• Prototype development and design of the pilot projects

• Implementation, demonstration and validation of pilot projects

• Outreach activities and Advisory Board

• Standardisation activities
